The Sorcerer

This is the sorcerer Sha Totek, a character from several of my novels. This image has a long history reaching all the way back to 1982. Back then it was an acrylic painting. It met with some success, being used as a magazine cover. As the decades reeled by I became dissatisfied with it. Being too lazy to repaint the whole thing from scratch, I instead made a new digital background and environment for it and pasted in some of the old painted elements. A much nicer result, I feel.
